Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 future scenarios across technology, climate, and societal domains
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging disruptors
- Design strategic roadmaps for exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Facilitate executive workshops on systemic risk and opportunity assessment
- Author thought leadership publications and predictive intelligence reports
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions
- Advise C-suite on adaptive strategies for volatile futures
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing multi-year scenario planning frameworks
- Expertise in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field
- Strong data visualization and narrative storytelling capabilities
- Experience with Delphi method, horizon scanning, and weak signal analysis
- Published work in peer-reviewed foresight or technology journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFCS) preferred
