Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework using advanced scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Produce high-impact trend reports and risk assessments for executive leadership
- Design and implement innovation pipelines for 3-5 year strategic initiatives
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight insights into R&D priorities
- Represent the organization at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior futurists and establish best practices in strategic foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist leadership
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, climate tech
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi studies, cross-impact analysis, backcasting
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and public speaking experience
- Published thought leadership in futurist or business strategy publications
- Ability to translate complex scenarios into actionable business strategies
