Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Produce actionable intelligence reports on future market disruptions and competitive landscapes
- Design and implement innovation incubation programs for 2026-era opportunities
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track organizational adaptation to emerging trends
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future-focused leadership
- Proven track record of translating future insights into commercial products or policies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation (articles, books, whitepapers)
