Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize the 2026 Innovation Framework using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, and climate-positive technologies
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness metrics including technology adoption curves and market disruption vectors
- Present future-state briefings to stakeholders using immersive visualization and predictive analytics tools
- Author the annual 'Future State Report' with actionable recommendations for R&D prioritization
- Maintain proprietary database of emerging technologies with impact assessments
- Mentor junior futurists and establish the firm's thought leadership in future studies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related technical field
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method) and predictive modeling
- Demonstrated success in launching products/services based on future trend analysis
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI-driven forecasting platforms
- Published thought leadership in future studies or technology disruption
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for classified innovation initiatives
