Responsibilities
- Develop and operationalize 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into R&D priorities and market entry strategies
- Produce quarterly '2026 Pulse Reports' synthesizing technological, social, and environmental disruptors
- Architect the company's 2026 innovation portfolio, balancing exponential tech adoption with ethical implications
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing principles into development lifecycles
- Establish global ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and policy think tanks
- Present strategic vision to board members and investors, securing buy-in for long-term initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Track record of translating future insights into commercial strategy and product development
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from WFS or APF) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on mid-term transformation
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or sustainability trends
