Responsibilities
- Lead multi-year horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting our industry through 2026
- Develop and publish comprehensive trend reports and strategic foresight frameworks for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation workshops using design thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Partner with product teams to integrate future insights into long-term roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Monitor and analyze geopolitical, economic, and technological signals affecting future business landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with demonstrable impact
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with experience influencing C-level executives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Technology Management, or related field
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities with data-driven decision-making mindset
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Experience leading cross-cultural teams and managing global stakeholder relationships
