Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and market research
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Produce strategic foresight reports for C-suite on disruptive technologies and market shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to integrate emerging technologies into product development pipelines
- Present compelling future scenarios to stakeholders through data-driven visualizations and storytelling
- Mentor junior futurists and build a global network of innovation partners
- Monitor geopolitical and socio-economic factors impacting tech adoption in 2026+ landscapes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist roles within tech/consulting
- Proven expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, cross-impact matrices)
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech stacks (generative AI, Web3, neurotech, climate tech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with proficiency in visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience advising Fortune 500 clients on technology transformation
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (preferred) or equivalent practical expertise
