Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation strategy roadmap aligning with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping future-facing technologies (quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, autonomous infrastructure)
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify breakthrough opportunities across tech, sustainability, and human augmentation domains
- Present strategic foresight insights to C-suite and board members with data-driven impact assessments
- Manage $5M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused resource allocation
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching market-disruptive products (3+ case studies required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or AGI governance
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in foresight methodologies (scenario planning, Delphi, backcasting)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in Innovation Management (e.g., ICF CPFP) or equivalent
- Portfolio demonstrating 2026+ technology roadmaps or trend analysis
