Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for technology and market evolution
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for disruptive shifts
- Produce quarterly trend reports analyzing AI, biotech, and sustainable tech trajectories
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into innovation roadmaps and product prototypes
- Build and curate a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to investors, board members, and government partners
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Published thought leadership in foresight or emerging technology domains
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex system analysis and strategic modeling
