Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify high-impact opportunities and risks for 2026 market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Build and mentor a team of futurist analysts to ensure continuous intelligence gathering
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes for early-mover advantages
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Strategic Planning, Business Innovation, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite planning roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy preferred
