As our futurist trailblazer, you'll pioneer methodologies to map technology adoption curves, identify inflection points in AI ethics and quantum computing, and develop scenario-based roadmaps that future-proof organizations. Your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, investment decisions, and innovation frameworks at the highest echelons of industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate disruptive technologies and societal trends through 2026-2030
- Develop proprietary foresight frameworks using predictive analytics, Delphi methodology, and scenario planning
- Deliver executive-level strategic briefings to C-suite clients on emerging risks and opportunities
- Design and facilitate stakeholder workshops to align leadership on future-state visioning
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers that position Nexus Horizon as the authority on next-generation disruption
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate foresight into actionable innovation pipelines
- Maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic researchers for trend validation
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in trend analysis across AI, biotechnology, climate tech, and digital transformation
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Exceptional command of scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry publications
- Experience presenting to executive audiences on complex future scenarios
- Mastery of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Flourish) for trend storytelling
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFMP preferred)
