Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 global foresight framework, analyzing quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders, presenting data-driven futures narratives
- Partner with product teams to integrate 2026 trend predictions into R&D pipelines
- Author quarterly 'FutureScan' reports with actionable recommendations for board-level decisions
- Establish strategic alliances with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon-scanning methodologies and trend synthesis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi Method)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futurist journals or top-tier business publications
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful futures-implementation projects
