Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing issues, including pipe leaks, clogged drains, and gas line failures.
- Install and maintain water heaters, piping systems, and fixtures in strict accordance with local New York building codes.
- Interpret and utilize blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to plan project layouts.
- Provide detailed written estimates and communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and costs.
- Mentor junior plumbing staff and ensure all job sites adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve potential system failures before they occur.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman or Master Plumber license issued by the State of New York.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience in commercial and industrial settings.
- Proficient in reading and understanding plumbing codes, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of copper, PVC, PEX, and stainless steel piping materials.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs).
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
