Responsibilities
- Install and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair piping systems, fixtures, and appliances according to local codes and blueprints.
- Diagnosis: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe failures, efficiently and accurately.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with clients, explain technical issues in plain language, and provide estimates for repairs.
- Tool Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work vehicle and tool belt.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes to ensure a safe work environment.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency service calls in a timely manner, often after hours.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid Indiana Journeyman Plumber License is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Tools: Own and bring your own professional-grade plumbing tools.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.
