Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain piping systems for water, gas, drainage, and heating throughout Indianapolis and the Illinois border region.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure system efficiency and compliance with local codes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex plumbing issues efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Journeyman Plumber License (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years of professional plumbing experience in commercial and residential settings.
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes (IPC/IPC) and building regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites in the IL/IN region.
- Certification in backflow prevention or HVAC is a plus.
