Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential and commercial plumbing issues, including leaks, clogs, and pipe bursts.
- Install, maintain, and replace water heaters, faucets, toilets, and piping systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts.
- Ensure all installations and repairs comply with local and state building codes and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Communicate clearly with customers to explain technical issues and provide cost estimates.
Qualifications
- Valid Journeyman Plumber License in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional plumbing experience.
- Strong knowledge of copper, PVC, and galvanized steel piping.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in tight or confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including pipe threaders and saws.
