Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and structural assembly
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with proper certifications
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and other tradespeople seamlessly
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment daily for optimal performance
- Assist in project documentation and progress reporting
- Participate in emergency response drills and site cleanup initiatives
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with power tools and hand-operated equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexible availability including overtime and weekend shifts
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
