Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete forming and finishing techniques
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts)
- Install and finish structural steel components
- Maintain strict OSHA compliance on all job sites
- Read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
- Coordinate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly
- Experience with concrete and steel operations
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
