Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and grading with precision
- Handle material transport, unloading, and inventory management
- Operate power tools (jackhammers, saws, drills) and heavy machinery safely
- Assist skilled trades in carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance
- Read blueprints and technical schematics accurately
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid Louisiana driver's license
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
