Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finish work with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and power tools safely and efficiently
- Interpret blueprints and technical schematics to ensure project compliance
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electricians and carpenters
- Perform material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Complete daily progress reports and quality assurance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction experience with verifiable references
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
- Proficiency with power tools and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent required
