Responsibilities
- Execute precise construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, concrete pouring, and structural framing
- Safely operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment (excavators, forklifts)
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure project compliance
- Implement strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Collaborate with tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) for seamless project delivery
- Perform quality checks and troubleshoot construction issues in real-time
- Manage material inventory and logistics for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years proven experience in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong understanding of building codes and construction methodologies
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Charlotte metro area
