Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finish carpentry
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with tradespeople, supervisors, and project managers
- Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with building codes
- Assist with material handling and inventory management
Qualifications
- 2+ years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings and understand construction terminology
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Marion County
