Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up safety barriers, and organizing materials
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with precision
- Mix, pour, and finish concrete structures following blueprints and specifications
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, roofing, and masonry tasks
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards
- Maintain equipment and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and basic construction machinery
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
