Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including site preparation, excavation, concrete work, and structural framing
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, etc.) and hand tools with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including carpenters, electricians, and supervisors
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and quality control
- Participate in project planning meetings and contribute process improvement ideas
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction experience in residential/commercial projects
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and current driver's license
- Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment
- Ability to read architectural blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in extreme weather conditions
- Florida driver's license required with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Experience with Miami-Dade County building codes preferred
