Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with layout measurements and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and maintain equipment according to OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and interpret technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Assist in concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Collaborate with supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
