Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with precision and safety protocols
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material installation
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and formwork
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Adhere to OSHA standards and project-specific safety plans
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction labor experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with hand tools and power equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
