Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including framing, concrete pouring, site preparation, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications with precision
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and quality standards
- Collaborate with tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) for seamless project execution
- Perform site cleanup and waste management throughout construction phases
- Conduct equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, levels) and construction equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Valid NC driver's license with clean driving record
