Responsibilities
- Execute physically demanding tasks including material handling, site preparation, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and maintain clean, organized work zones
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, masons, electricians) with specialized construction activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery safely
- Perform quality assurance checks and report structural concerns promptly
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet critical project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction experience or vocational certification
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid Florida driver's license (Class B preferred)
