Responsibilities
- Execute precise construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery safely including excavators, forklifts, and power tools
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and NYC building codes
- Collaborate with diverse crews on multi-story residential and commercial projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout all project phases
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years verifiable construction labor experience in commercial/residential settings
- Valid NYC Construction Worker Certification (Local 79 or equivalent)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment operation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong knowledge of NYC building codes and safety regulations
