Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and foundation work
- Install and finish structural elements including concrete, steel, and framing
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers) with OSHA-certified precision
- Apply advanced finishing techniques in drywall, masonry, and carpentry
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality control standards
- Collaborate with cross-trade teams to maintain project timelines
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial/residential construction
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency with power tools and heavy machinery operation
- Knowledge of Virginia building codes and blueprints
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor work in varying conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Willingness to pursue trade certifications (e.g., NCCER)
