Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools, excavators, and forklifts safely and efficiently
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret instructions to execute tasks accurately
- Perform trenching, concrete pouring, and finish work as needed
- Support equipment maintenance and basic troubleshooting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid O-10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Class B CDL license preferred (training provided for qualified candidates)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
- Basic math skills for material measurement and layout
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
