Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators, power tools) with precision and safety
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) for seamless project execution
- Inspect materials for quality compliance and report deficiencies promptly
- Assist in site preparation, demolition, and waste management procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically strenuous tasks in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, weekends, and overtime
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
