Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, demolition, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction tasks accurately
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Assist skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with project execution
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
- Adapt to changing project schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction or related labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physical labor for 8+ hours
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
