Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites, including clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision to support the crew.
- Quality Control: Perform basic quality checks on work areas and ensure compliance with blueprints and safety standards.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized job site at the end of each shift to ensure safety protocols are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors effectively.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but on-the-job training is provided for motivated candidates.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
