Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts)
- Construct foundations, frameworks, and finishing elements per blueprints
- Maintain job site cleanliness and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance compliance
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and reporting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience required
- OSHA 10/30 certification preferred
- Valid North Carolina driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and construction machinery
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
