Responsibilities
- Execute foundational construction tasks including concrete pouring, framing, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with precision and safety protocols
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to implement project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (carpenters, electricians, project managers)
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain equipment logs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, nail guns) and hand tools
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
