Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and grading operations
- Construct and install foundational structures following blueprints and OSHA standards
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and concrete mixers
- Install scaffolding, formwork, and temporary site protection systems
- Perform demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup protocols
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on integrated tasks
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years verifiable construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficient in operating heavy machinery (excavator, backhoe, skid steer)
- Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics
- Physical endurance for lifting 50+ lbs and working in extreme weather
- Knowledge of Missouri building codes and safety regulations
