Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling per blueprints and safety standards
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with tool/material management
- Perform concrete work including pouring, finishing, and form installation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA compliance protocols
- Complete daily progress reports and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10/30 certification and heavy machinery operator license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong teamwork ethic and reliability with punctual attendance
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
- Valid Illinois driver's license with clean record
