Responsibilities
- Execute precise excavation, grading, and concrete pouring tasks following blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and forklifts with OSHA certification
- Install and finish structural elements like steel framing, scaffolding, and roofing systems
- Maintain site cleanliness, tool inventory, and equipment maintenance logs
- Collaborate with tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) to ensure seamless project flow
- Adhere to strict safety standards and conduct daily site hazard assessments
- Assist in material handling, inventory management, and waste disposal procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in commercial/residential construction labor
- Valid OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification and forklift operator license
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and measurement instruments
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong understanding of Georgia building codes and safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred
- Reliable transportation and clean criminal/drug screening background
