Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and demolition
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, safety protocols, and project specifications
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians) as needed
- Perform material handling, equipment maintenance, and site preparation
- Document daily progress and report safety concerns to supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years proven construction labor experience
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screening
- Team player with excellent communication abilities
