Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and grading operations
- Install and maintain scaffolding, temporary structures, and safety barriers
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, bulldozers, and concrete pumps
- Assist skilled trades with material handling, layout, and finishing tasks
- Implement strict OSHA compliance and site safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Perform quality control checks and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex builds
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean record
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme conditions
- Strong spatial reasoning and blueprint interpretation skills
- Excellent physical stamina and dexterity
- Local knowledge of Charlotte building codes and regulations
