Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, framing, concrete pouring, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project requirements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Perform quality control checks and report project progress to supervisors
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and budget targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction or labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible schedule
- High school diploma or equivalent required
