Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation including excavation, grading, and soil stabilization
- Operate heavy machinery (skid steers, excavators) with precision and safety protocols
- Construct concrete forms, scaffolding, and temporary structures
- Install and finish drywall, insulation, and interior finishes
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Conduct daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Adhere to OSHA and local construction regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy machinery
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Flexible schedule (overtime/weekend availability required)
