Responsibilities
- Execute precise site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) with proper certification
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and finishing
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Maintain project cleanliness and organize construction materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Class B CDL or forklift certification highly desired
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Sacramento metro
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
