Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery safely (excavators, forklifts, etc.) with proper certifications
- Follow blueprints and specifications under site supervisor guidance
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with skilled trades teams (carpenters, electricians, etc.) for seamless project execution
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience in commercial/residential projects
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification and heavy machinery operation licenses
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools
- Strong attention to safety protocols and detail-oriented work ethic
- Ability to read basic blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
- Valid Louisiana driver's license and reliable transportation
