Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete pouring, framing, and finishing work on commercial/residential sites
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with expert precision
- Interpret blueprints and schematics to implement complex structural elements
- Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce site safety protocols
- Coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and carpenters for seamless project integration
- Perform material estimation and inventory management
- Lead crew operations during critical construction phases
Qualifications
- 5+ years verified construction labor experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Expertise in concrete finishing, rebar installation, and structural forming
- Class B CDL license with heavy equipment endorsement
- Blueprint reading proficiency and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Local New Orleans construction portfolio required
- Valid Louisiana contractor's license preferred
