Responsibilities
- Execute precise demolition, excavation, and earthwork operations
- Assist carpenters, masons, and electricians with material handling
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, forklifts) safely and efficiently
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing procedures
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment daily for optimal performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex builds
Qualifications
- 3+ years' commercial/residential construction experience
- Valid NYC DOB Site Safety Training (SST) certification
- OSHA 30-hour construction safety card required
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in all weather conditions
- New York State Driver's License preferred
- Blueprint reading and measurement skills
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
