Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and earthmoving tasks with precision
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, bulldozers, forklifts) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and structural support
- Ensure strict OSHA compliance and maintain organized, safe job sites
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for accurate implementation
- Perform concrete pouring, finishing, and curing procedures
- Conduct daily equipment safety inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Class B CDL license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy machinery
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Pass background check and drug screening
