Responsibilities
- Execute diverse construction tasks including excavation, framing, concrete pouring, and finish work
- Operate heavy machinery (forklifts, excavators) and hand tools with precision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Collaborate with skilled trades (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) on complex projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform material handling, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- Complete daily progress reports and quality assurance checks
Qualifications
- 3+ years of verified construction labor experience in commercial/residential settings
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification required
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather
- Blueprint reading and basic math skills for measurements
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
