Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling per blueprints and safety protocols
- Operate heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, and power tools
- Install structural components, formwork, and finishing materials
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to OSHA standards
- Collaborate with carpenters, electricians, and project managers
- Inspect work areas for hazards and implement corrective actions
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Basic blueprint reading and math skills
- Team-oriented with excellent communication abilities
